Concerning my council district which is going to be redistricted, I got this letter:

Per the City Attorney, you will not become a part of District 7 until after the Inauguration in June. That is when the new Districts will go into place. If Mr. Chaney is re-elected, we will give you and your neighbors the same service we try to give the currect constituents. We have community meetings and try to address the concerns of our district. If you are having problems in your neighborhood, Mr. Chaney will be more than happy to hold a neighborhood meeting in your area and address your concerns.

I surely hope so.
